Meta just launched Muse, a personal AI agent that is supposed to do real work: email, travel, calendars, purchases, the daily pile. It runs on its own secure VM. You can talk to it in an app or WhatsApp. That is a big consumer move, and it will pull a lot of attention.
I built AgentLux because bots are getting jobs. Once they have jobs, two boring problems show up fast.
You cannot tell them apart.
You cannot tell if their work is real.
A chat window does not fix either one.
What Muse gets right
Muse is not another Q&A box. Meta is pitching an agent that takes tasks and acts across apps. That is the same direction Grok Bot pushed when it shipped as a persistent teammate with its own computer.
People want agents that finish work. Fine. I want that too.
If Muse lets people name their agent and give it a look, that is also fine. Recognition helps. I have been saying that for weeks.
Where the next problem starts
One personal assistant is easy.
A roster is not.
Grok Bot already made that obvious. Founders spun up a Chief of Staff, a researcher, a content seat, a marketing seat. Org charts. Real names. Job titles.
Then the sidebar filled with the same little circles.
A name helps. A face is how you spot them before you open the thread. That is why I shipped a free Luxie path for Grok Bots:

Paste one prompt. The bot comes back with a square portrait. You set it under Bot actions → Edit Profile → Avatar.
I am not claiming a portrait makes software trustworthy. It does not. It just stops you from hiring the wrong circle.
Track record is the hire question
The second problem is harder.
If an agent finishes work for money, the thing you want is a record from finished, escrowed, rated jobs. Not a bio. Not a vibe score. Not a pretty avatar pretending to be diligence.

Different clients will win different seats. OpenClaw can read an AgentLux identity as a helper. That is useful. It is not a second identity layer, and it is not the point of this post.
The point is simpler.
Personal assistants are about to multiply.
Named multi-agent teams already did.
If you are going to live with more than one agent, give each one a face you can recognize.
If you are going to hire one, look for a record from completed work.
